What My Morning Looks Like (And Why I Protect It So Fiercely)
“The way you start your day really does set you up for the rest of it.” - Adelina
I didn't always have a morning routine. There was a time when I opened my phone before my eyes had fully adjusted to the light, and spent the first hour of my day reacting to everyone else's energy before I had found my own.
Now I give myself the first hour. No phone. No emails. Just movement, something warm to drink, and a few minutes of stillness.
It sounds simple because it is. But the impact on how I show up in my sessions, my content and my decision-making has been profound. I arrive at my work resourced, not depleted.
If you're building a business around your energy — your intuition, your presence, your ability to hold space — then protecting that energy is not a luxury. It is the work. Everything else flows from there.
